CHRISTIE'S EDUCATION CALL FOR APPLICATION!

Christie’s Education I New York opens the call for its Modern and Contemporary Art Certificate. Located at 1230 Avenue of the Americas, Christies’s Education offers the part-time certificate program on modern and contemporary art through academic and research study, and insertion into the New York agenda.

The certificate has a varied and quality programming. Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, for example, students of the Modern and Contemporary Art Certificate are part of the Modern Art Survey conference course. There, theoretical classes are taught in relation to the history of modern and contemporary art, both in Europe and the United States, and world production in general.

Another particular feature of the program is the private sessions that each student has with a specific Christie’s Education instructor with the objective of developing specific field studies, oriented to the New York scene. Within that framework, students have access to studios of artists, galleries, museums and private collections, both outside and inside the city.

Students can choose to do some academic work and receive a certificate at the end of the program, provided they meet the requirements. They can also attend conferences and seminars without the commitment of academic work, although no certificate will be granted.
