With the objective of stimulating the interest and the diffusion of the Argentine photography towards new audiences a series of educational activities will be carried out in different provinces of the Argentine Republic coordinated by the artistic director of the fair, next to different exhibitors specialized in the subject And the support of the Ministry. In this way, we also seek to federalize the promotion and development of the artistic production linked to this discipline in our territory.

The first activity took place this Saturday July 15 at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Rosario and consisted of a day on contemporary photography where Rodrigo Alonso and Norberto Puzzolo participated. Between the two it was sought to establish a route through the different aesthetic and conceptual currents that have arisen in the photography from the second half of the XX century until the present time. Emphasis was placed on the problems within this artistic field and its development as a contemporary discipline through the legitimation of the art institution. On the other hand, special attention was given to the consolidation of photography in Argentina from the various schools and movements that have emerged in recent years. The day also had the support of the Undersecretary of Culture of Rosario and was aimed at collectors, artists, students and amateur public in contemporary art.
