On Friday, August 10, the San Marcos Art Museum, Lima (Peru), inaugurates snapshots|instantáneas LIM / MAD / MEX, a photographic project carried out by Luisa Fernanda Lindo during 2014-2016 in the cities of Lima, Madrid and Mexico City . During yesterday morning (July 31) The Drawing Center of New York announced that Laura Hoptman will assume as Executive Director of the museum located in Manhattan. Pacha, Llaqta, Wasichay: Indigenous Space, Modern Architecture, New Art is a collective exhibition of Latin American art at the Whitney Museum of American Art that explores the relationship between indigenous and vernacular notions of construction, land, space and cosmology and the influence they have had on the history of modern and contemporary art and architecture in the Americas. PACHA, LLAQTA, WASICHAY: A LATIN AMERICAN SAMPLE AT THE WHITNEY MUSEUM OF AMERICAN ART

Pacha, Llaqta, Wasichay: Indigenous Space, Modern Architecture, New Art is a collective exhibition of Latin American art at the Whitney Museum of American Art that explores the relationship between indigenous and vernacular notions of construction, land, space and cosmology and the influence they have had on the history of modern and contemporary art and architecture in the Americas. It opens tomorrow.

Una línea de polvo, arte y drogas en América Latina (A line of dust, art and drugs in Latin America) is a research that includes two books published on the growth of the narcotic phenomenon in Latin America, and an exhibition held in Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia and Mexico between 2012 and 2018. With the participation of more than 40 artists, the exhibition has believed and witnessed this phenomenon. The exhibition has been curated by Santiago Rueda and opens today in the Exhibition Hall of the Municipal Institute of Culture and Tourism of Bucaramanga, in Colombia.

A LINE OF POWDER, ART AND DRUGS IN LATIN AMERICA

Una línea de polvo, arte y drogas en América Latina (A line of dust, art and drugs in Latin America) is a research that includes two books published on the growth of the narcotic phenomenon in Latin America, and an exhibition held in Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia and Mexico between 2012 and 2018. With the participation of more than 40 artists, the exhibition has believed and witnessed this phenomenon. The exhibition has been curated by Santiago Rueda and opens today in the Exhibition Hall of the Municipal Institute of Culture and Tourism of Bucaramanga, in Colombia.

This July 6, MAMAC presents the individual exhibition of Irene Kopelman. She explores exceptional ecosystems, where she seeks to understand the mechanisms of the living world. Each biotope is a specific adventure, sensitive (feeling the landscape, its scale and movements); visual (entanglement and interdependence of the elements) and intellectual nature (discovering with the scientific teams in the field the tools of recording, measuring and understanding the life of these ecosystems and their role on a large scale).
