Aside from hosting the 10th anniversary celebration of Crossing Cultures, PINTA Miami begins preparing education focused programs with the launch of Young Collectors Desk, an initiative of Guijarro de Pablo Art Consulting.

Pinta Miami Launches a interesting program for new collectors

One of the principal objectives of Young Collector’s Desk is to provide assistants – already avid collectors and enthusiasts of art – with the necessary tools to help maximize their experiences at Pinta Miami’s 10th anniversary celebration. Guijarro de Pablo Art Consulting’s proposal aims to educate and give attendees the opportunity to explore the world of the arts with guided tours that focus on the basics of collecting art. The tours will dive into topics that range from how to attend art fairs to the basics of evaluating a piece of art. The initiative is directed by Jimena Guijarro, who combines her knowledge of strategic communications with her vast experience and passion for the visual arts. One of Jimena’s specialties is facilitating and introducing the process of collecting art to individuals who are new to the art world.

“Many individuals who attend art fairs enjoy visual arts but do not know how to start a proper collection, either because they believe they do not know how to purchase a ‘good piece’ of art or because they think to have a collection of art is out of their reach financially,” explained Jimena Guijarro, creator of Young Collectors Desk. “It is our objective for people who come to PINTA Miami’s celebration to see that in the fair there are excellent works of art they can purchase at prices that are accessible to all.” The Young Collector’s Desk program will be held at the fair from the 1st until the 4th of December from 12 – 8 pm. To enroll in the guided tours, visit www.pintamiami.com or call Jimena Guijarro at 786.239.5204.

“Thanks to its impressive programming, PINTA Miami 2015 was extremely well attended. The Young Collectors Deskfollows on our promise to expand our reach to new collectors, the future of the art market, through the guidance and education this program provides.” Explained the Founder and Director of PINTA Miami, Diego Costa Peuser.

PINTA Miami continues its anniversary celebration with the support of EFG Wealth Management Bank, a Swiss bank located in Miami turning twenty years old, and LATAM Airlines, another supporter of PINTA Miami who will be sponsoring the VIP lounge and is also a sponsor of the SaludArte Foundation, directed by collector Tanya Brillembourg. On this 10th anniversary celebration, PINTA reinforces its commitment to support and promote Latin American art while connecting it to the rest of the world by “crossing cultures”, thereby taking the fair to new frontiers.

PINTA Miami is directed by Diego Costa Peuser, CEO of Arte al Dia Internacional magazine. He is also the founder and director of PARC – Peru Arte Contemporaneo, BAphoto (Buenos Aires Photo) and the Buenos Aires and Punta del Este editions of Gallery Nights. PINTA Miami’s 10th anniversary celebration will take place from November 30th to December 4th, 2016, at Mana Wynwood. For more information, visit: http://www.pintamiami.com/.
