ANINAT GALERÍA PRESENTS EXHIBITIONS BY ROBERTO MATTA AND TOMASA WORMULL
The Chilean gallery Aninat inaugurated two exhibitions: Matta-verso, by one of the country's most relevant artists Roberto Matta and Todo final es el principio de otra cosa (Every end is the beginning of something else) by Tomasa Wormull.

Matta-verso by Roberto Matta.
Commemorating the 111th anniversary of Roberto Matta's birth, this exhibition invites visitors to delve into and unveil the artist's artistic universe. Matta creates a dialect that fuses primitive cultures, the concept of time and space, and gestural writing, which awakens new possibilities for art in our time. Through his works, we can appreciate his interest in primitive cultures and his cosmovision of the human being as part of nature.
Javiera García-Huidobro: "We conclude that Matta is an artist who anticipates and projects what we know today as Meta-Verse. Because of his pictorial creation and the concepts he embodies in his creations, in addition to his technological register evident in his latest work in digital pieces".
The exhibition "Matta-Verso" includes drawings, paintings, wood and bronze sculptures, and digital pieces. This exhibition invites viewers to study Matta's world and poetry in his universe of creations, awakening curiosity in new generations. In addition, a free program for children and adults will be offered with the objective of disseminating the work of the most relevant Chilean artist in our history.
Every end is the beginning of something else by Tomasa Wormull.
The artist seeks, from works on paper with tracing paper and paint, new ways of organizing the composition.
"Repetition, tension, error, domesticating error, singularizing and re-presenting forms to create an image that evidences all of the above, belonging to a support that justifies it," explains the artist.
