New York - Hauser & Wirth is pleased to present its inaugural exhibition of works by Eduardo Chillida (1924 – 2002), Spain’s foremost sculptor of the twentieth century.

Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Cuban Legacy Gallery at the Freedom Tower will present Cuban Streams: 1855 – 1965, a multi-media installation by the Miami artist César Trasobares. The installation features captivating and immersive video projections that highlight historical photographs of the island nation from the collection of Ramiro A. Fernández. Cuban Streams will inaugurate the newly renovated Cuban Legacy Gallery at the Freedom Tower from May 19, 2018 to May 19, 2019.

The PhotoGallery of the Teatro San Martín (Av. Corrientes 1530) will reopen under the direction of a new curatorial committee, made up of Rosana Schoijett, Bruno Dubner and Ariel Authier. The first exhibition, called Máxima Reserva, will be held in June and will consist of a photographic exhibition of the artists Lucrecia Plat and Carlos Guinzburg.

The Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires presents the exhibition "With a life of his own", a monographic exhibition by the Argentine artist David Lamelas (Buenos Aires, 1946), a pioneer of conceptual art and one of the great protagonists of the Argentine artistic scene in the 60s.

From March 24th to May 5th there is an exhibition of the Argentine group "Escombros" created in 1988.

Unitl May 13th you can see in the central hall of the Museo del Chopo an exhibition of the Mexican artist Tania Candiani consisting of three stages: the first will install a sewing workshop where two seamstresses will make a large aerostatic balloon, piece main of the exhibition. The second stage consists in the rise and fall of the balloon, as a unique presentation for the public on the day of the inauguration. And the third stage will consist in the exhibition of the balloon inside the gallery.
