INDIO SOLARI PRESENTS BRUTTO AT THE MAR MUSEUM
The visual art exhibition brings together a selection of works created through digital media, exploring experiences, imaginary worlds, and the artist’s personal wanderings.

Carlos Alberto "Indio" Solari (Argentina, 1949) unveiled his latest production, BRUTTO. "This selection of works expresses the essence of a unique identity, representing both a personal journey and a series of images that invite a deeper understanding of the artist’s work," stated the organizers.
This project is curated by Indio Solari, with a prologue by Bárbara Maier and Marcelo Figueras.
“BRUTTO unfolds a serial visual experience where natural contours, the human figure, spells, devils, and mechanical elements intertwine, rebelling against academic restraint and rigid aesthetic forms,” they added.
They also described it as a proposal that embraces dissonance and the ungraspable, resisting any attempt at structured interpretation. It does not seek to be gentle but rather to express a raw and powerful imagination, overflowing boundaries and shaking the sensitivity of those who, beyond listening, now also observe.
Its opening drew more than 2,000 people. As early as the morning of February 26, dozens of fans began lining up to be among the first to enter and see the exhibition. Hundreds quickly gathered, waving flags and chanting as they eagerly awaited the chance to experience the work of the most iconic frontman in Argentina’s music history.
It wasn't just locals from Mar del Plata—some traveled hundreds of kilometers for the event, coming from cities like La Plata, Buenos Aires (CABA), San Miguel, La Matanza, Tandil, Balcarce, Miramar, and many more. With the exhibition set up along the south wall of the upper-level hall, visitors crowded in to admire every detail of the artwork, capturing photos and selfies to immortalize the emotional moment.
BRUTTO will be on display until August 3 at the MAR Museum, located at Av. Félix U. Camet and López de Gomara, Mar del Plata, (Argentina).
